Members of Fairfield Church hiking up Mt. Tammany at the Delaware water gap were reminded of the difficulties and joys of the Christian life, and the great hope to which we are called in Christ. The trail was at times steep and tiring and people felt like giving up - a couple ahead of us turned back not even reaching the top - but church members encouraged one another to press on, and the view at the top was worth it.
Galatians 6:9,10 — "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers."
